Delayed but made it

Despite a two-hour delay (yes, two, stuck on the plane waiting at the gate while the optimistic pilot kept telling us he hoped we would be leaving soon) getting out of New York and a special airport transport to catch the next flight which was also delayed half an hour, we made it to Egypt.

Don't worry. I promise we will get closer tomorrow. 

It's hot. Much to hot to blog. 

Lisa and I are instead venturing out to buy me a towel so I can take a lovely cold shower.  Unlike my darling sister, I opted not to adhere to the well-known rule for traveling--whether it be to Egypt or hitch hiking across the galaxy--and did not bring my towel with me. 

A mistake I shall not make again.
